We are proud that Il Centro’s Children and Youth Program is continuing online via Zoom, and that our classes are helping children and parents in these stressful times. To support learning outside of our virtual classrooms, here are some links to some useful Italian online learning resources.

  • Mamme in sol – Songs for toddlers.
  • Lezioni sul Sofà – A YouTube channel about writers reading books. The website features articles about science, literature and psychology for youth. For 0- to 14-years-old children and youth.
  • My first page – Another YouTube channel dedicated to childrens’ books.
  • Piccole Buone Forchette – An Italian blog about recipes to make with your kids.
  • Finally, an article (in Italian) with even more links to online learning resources in Italian, divided by age group.

Buona lettura e buona visione!

Online Spring Courses for Adults and Children

Here at il Centro’s School, we worked hard to move our classes to a distance learning format in response to the Coronavirus situation. When we closed il Centro as a proactive precautionary measure against COVID-19, we decided to move our classes to an online format. The fact that many students and parents decided to follow us in this new adventure is proof of our teachers’ creativity and talent.

Today, we are delighted to announce some exciting news about our offerings for the Spring Session.

ADULT PROGRAM

Registrations for the Adult Online Spring Session (starting on April 14th) are open. The spring offering includes our usual Beginner-to-Advanced Italian classes, as well as specialty courses such as Conversation, Impara l’italiano in Cucina and Impara l’italiano con le Canzoni.

All of these classes will be delivered online via Zoom.

You can see the full calendar and register at this link.

CHILDREN & YOUTH PROGRAM

During the past few weeks, we continued to offer Children and Youth classes (which started in September 2019) online via Zoom.

At the same time, for the Spring Session, we are offering two ONLINE courses for Toddlers.

On a final note, we’re sure that you miss visiting il Centro as much as we do. For this reason, we want to reassure you that, as soon as we will be able to reopen our facilities, we will return to an in-person format for all of our courses.

We hope that our courses will bring some relief and distraction in this challenging moment.

Stay safe, and we hope to see you in one of our online courses!
