Intermediate 1 in-person ~ 12 weeks course, 30 hours

In response to the recent rise of cases of Covid-19 due to the emergence of the more transmissible Omicron variant we have decided to put online the most part of our courses in planned in-person, such as Intermediate 1. We hope to offer it in-person during the next Spring Session. Thank you for your understanding.

At this level you are a fairly competent speaker of the Italian language. However, you still need systematic correction in pronunciation, grammatical structures and complex sentence formation by using learning the Imperfetto and Condizionale tenses.

Pre-requisites:

• Present tense and Past tense of regular and irregular verbs
• Reflexive verbs
• Talk about themselves,  family, habits, holidays..

Nuovo Espresso 2 is the textbook used for Intermediate 1, 2 & 3 levels.

In Intermediate 1 we will cover chapters 1 to 4 of the textbook.

A paper copy of Nuovo Espresso 2 can be purchased in person and picked up at our front desk on weekdays from 9 am to 5 pm. We will respect social distancing norms as we deliver the book to you. We can also ship the textbook to you (shipping charges has to be applied).

Purchase or renewal of the ICC Annual Membership is also available on line.

***Refund policy: No refunds will be given after the first two sessions. Credit shall be granted after this period to be used within one year.  An administration fee of $10.00 will be applied to all credits, $25 fee to all refund. Membership fee and Espresso book are not refundable.
