Voting Individual Member
The mission of the Italian Cultural Centre resonates with you. You want to help us honour our past, you want to be engaged in our present, and you want to help us plan for the future to ensure the continuation of our legacy in Vancouver. If this sounds like you, please consider joining the Italian Cultural Centre as a Voting Individual Member!
Voting Individual Members attain such membership status by:
- paying a $100 + tax one-time-only initiation fee plus an annual $25 membership renewal fee*;
or
- contributing 24 hours of volunteer service to the Italian Cultural Centre in the previous calendar year**.
*If a Voting Individual Member has donated $1,500 or more to the Italian Cultural Centre cumulatively, that member is eligible for a lifetime membership to the Italian Cultural Centre without renewal fees or volunteering requirements. Lifetime membership is approved by the Board of Directors.
**If a Voting Individual Member has volunteered 24 hours per year for 10 consecutive years, that member is also eligible for a lifetime membership to the Italian Cultural Centre without renewal fees or volunteering requirements. Lifetime membership is approved by the Board of Directors.
Non-Voting Individual Member
You appreciate and enjoy all things Italian – the food, the language, the music, and the art, to name a few. You participate in our events and want to stay connected with us and all that we do. If this sounds like you, please consider joining us as a Non-Voting Individual Member.
Non-Voting Individual Members attain such membership status by paying a $25 (includes tax) annual membership fee.
Il Centro Membership Benefits
All members of the Italian Cultural Centre are entitled to the following benefits:
- Discount on all Italian language classes;
- Unlimited access to the Osteria Pub at the Centre;
- Access to Il Centro library and multimedia resource centre with borrowing privileges;
- Eligibility for Il Centro’s Scholarships.
And there are also other benefits in the Community for our members to enjoy:
- 15% discount at La Piazza Dario’s restaurant (3075 Slocan St., Vancouver) – 1 membership discount applied to entire party, membership card to be presented upon arrival (not applicable to set menus – valid for dinners only);
- 10% discount at Hilton Vancouver Metrotown (6083 McKay Ave., Burnaby) – off Best Available Rate on guestrooms; membership card to be presented upon arrival;
- 15% discount at CAPELLI SALON (2450 Heather St., Vancouver) on all hair services (cannot be combined with other promotions, membership card to be presented upon arrival).
