Date: October 2, 2014
Please join us for two informative presentations by Deborah Soria, a longtime member of IBBY Italia (International Board on Books for Young People), and founder of Ottimomassimo, a travelling bookstore that brings books to children in remote areas.
Ms. Soria will share her list of the best books for children written in Italian, and discuss the criteria for selecting the right book for each child’s needs and level of development.
The presentations will review the last decade of publishing of children’s books in Italy as well as exploring the internationally recognized “picture book” techniques.
