- Tortelloni Workshop (Nov. 14)

Time to let your inner Italian shine and take your pasta-making skills to the next level with this Tortelloni workshop! In this intimate hands-on class, our Italian-cooking expert Costanza will teach you the timeless techniques of incorporating egg into flour and working the dough into a supple and silky mass with your hands. You will knead your very own egg pasta, cut it, fill it with a delicious filling and, under the detailed guidance of Costanza, roll it into tortelloni for a final result that is sure to impress your guests. We will finish the night with a small tasting of the pasta with a simple sauce.
The class will include:
Pasta making from scratch
Sauce and cooking demonstrations
A small pasta tasting
A little pasta to take home, along with the recipes you will have learnt during class
Tickets are $55 and $50 for ICC members. Attendance is limited to 12 people so act fast!
All the ingredients and equipment are supplied, but if you have a pasta machine please bring it for your own use during class. Please also make sure to bring an apron, a container for the pasta to take home and a full belly! You are also welcome to bring your own wine if you’d like to have a glass while you cook. Sorry, the class is NOT recommended if you follow a gluten-free or vegan diet. While the class starts at 6.30, please arrive a few minutes early.
No cash refunds are available for this workshop. With at least 72 hours notice, we would be happy to provide a credit to use towards other workshops and selected Il Centro initiatives (please inquire). If you give us less than 72 hours notice, we may be able to issue a credit if we can fill your seat from our waiting list, but there is no guarantee. No credit will be issued for no-shows: whether you are able to attend or not, the instructor still needs to be fairly compensated. All tickets are 100% transferable at any time – just provide your receipt to the person attending or let us know their name by phone or email.
