Vancouver saxophonist Cory Weeds is an expressive player with a sound firmly rooted in the jazz tradition. Grant Stewart is a Toronto native who has lived in New York since 1990, and has become a veritable tenor colossus with his muscular approach and deft use of space enhanced by his unique sense of swing. Sam Taylor is a traditionalist with a muscular sound who plays with grace and beautiful deliberation. A buffet is available from 6.00 pm until 7.00 pm, and a cash bar is open for the entire evening. The concert starts at 7.00 pm. Tickets are $35 for dinner and concert, and $15 just for the concert; advanced registration is recommended – especially for big groups.
