Planned Charitable Giving/Bequests

“Planned Charitable Gifts” are gifts made with forethought to charitable organizations like the ICC; gifts made as part of an overall estate planning strategy; gifts structured to make the best use of available income tax benefits; or gifts made for specific charitable purposes.

Donating to charities like the ICC through your will or some other planned charitable gift is easy to set up, will offer tax benefits and can provide focus and direction to help you achieve your long-term philanthropic goals.

Whatever the reason, having a plan in place to facilitate your charitable giving can help you maximize the gift’s impact while increasing the personal value you derive from helping others.

Make a Gift of a Lifetime

The ICC relies almost entirely on the generosity of the public in its mission work to promote Italian culture, values and heritage and to share these with other communities. We receive very little funding from the government. Legacies provide about one-third of the money we need each year to operate.

Preparing Your Will

The ICC can provide the support and guidance you may need to update the information in your will.

We also welcome gifts of Life Insurance, RRSPs and Charitable Remainder Trusts.
